Women and Girls in Computer Science
As part of my PGDE I designed and conducted a survey to analyse how demographics and pupil identities influence interest in computer science, using data from the school's SIMS system to cross-reference survey responses. Through Python-based data analysis, I identified gender as a key factor and implemented targeted interventions, which led to measurable improvements in attitudes, particularly among girls, reducing the gender gap in interest.
